How do I join a swim club?
Someone in the club shares an invite link, usually over WhatsApp. Open it on your phone and it drops you into the club in Hattie: upcoming swims with Hattie's read attached, RSVPs, session chat, and a check-in for when you're going in. Joining and swimming are always free.
How do I start a swim club?
Clubs are created and managed on the web at wildswim.hattieknows.com/clubs, not in the app. Add your swim spots, schedule one-off or weekly swims, take roll-call afterwards, and share your invite link. Every scheduled swim carries Hattie’s verdict for that spot and hour.
How much does it cost to run a swim club?
Running a club needs Wild+, the organiser subscription: £24.99 a year with a 30-day free trial, cancel any time. Everyone you invite joins and swims free, and there's no in-app purchase — you set it up and manage it on the web.
My saved spots have disappeared after signing in.
Sign out, then sign back in — the app pulls your saved spots from the server on every sign-in. If they still don’t appear, email hello@hattieknows.com with the approximate names of the spots and the address you signed in with, and we can confirm they’re still on the server.
The verdict on Today and the Apple Watch don't match.
The Watch caches the most recent verdict so it can show something useful without a phone signal. Open Hattie on the phone, wait for the verdict to refresh, and the Watch updates within a minute. If they’re still different after that, force-quit Hattie on both and reopen.
Push notifications aren’t arriving.
On iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Hattie Knows and confirm Allow Notifications is on. On Android, Settings → Apps → Hattie Knows → Notifications. If they’re already on, sign out and back in inside Hattie — that re-registers the push token.
I can’t find a UK spot I expected to see.
Long-press on the map where the spot should be and Hattie gives you the verdict at that exact coordinate. To get a named spot added permanently, email hello@hattieknows.com with the latitude and longitude and we’ll seed it in the next data refresh.
